Sky responds to Sky TV issues – suggests fix after 10s of thousands experience outage
Following an outage of the service last night, hundreds of consumers are still left in the dark about Sky TV.
Many customers have gone to X to express their concerns with the lack of service since it was initially believed that the satellite television service went down at 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 15.
The Sky Q warning that says, "You can’t watch TV at the moment due to a connectivity problem," is currently displayed to some users.
Customers on X have now received a repair from Sky, albeit some claim that their boxes are still not functioning.

Yes, Sky has replied to consumers through X with suggestions on how to resolve connectivity problems with Sky Q.
"We are aware of some technical issues overnight that led to Sky Q boxes going into standby mode," the official Sky account wrote in a post on X this morning. In order to investigate and restore service, our technical team moved swiftly.
"To restore service if your Sky Q box is still locked in standby, turn it off for 30 seconds at the power outlet and then turn it back on. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
